ABOUT STEPINLIGHT

StepinLight, formerly Odori Simcha, is a danceable world fusion band that performs and records original compositions. The band enjoys making a positive, present, and joyous connection with our audience and listeners. StepinLight offers a mouth-watering mélange of World beats, Middle Eastern, Rap, Rock, Flamenco, Far Eastern modal, Hebrew, and Hindu musical influences.

StepinLight currently features guitarist John Berlinsky, vocalist/songwriter/ guitarist Neal Cronin, bassist/reedman Andy Dudnick, percussionist/drummer Mark Taylor, and vocalist/percussionist Joyce Wermont. Click here for more information on Neal. Andy is a multi-instrumentalist -- he is also a creative, accomplished flutist and saxophonist. He has played in a variety of groups, jazz combos, rock bands and disco bands. Mark is a multi-percussionist, who has played rock and world music with a variety of local bands. Joyce sings in the Loose Canons, a world music vocal group known for their fresh and humorous interpretations.
