SING EFFORTLESSLY WITH HARMONICS!

Cromatics offers vocal instruction for students of all levels and backgrounds. Neal integrates harmonics, used by TUVA throat singers, into his teaching. Harmonics are gorgeous, ringing overtones, similar to those produced in other musical instruments. This style was made popular by Paul Pena in the movie, Genghis Blues. TUVA is a province in the eastern (central Asian) region of Russia, near Mongolia. TUVA singing produces a beautiful, soulful horn quality.

Anyone can sing and carry a tune, regardless of how they feel! Using harmonics, or toning, in the singing process is very healing and relaxing. It's easy to learn, appeals to everyone, and is lots of fun! All you need is your voice, and a desire to sing. You can do it alone, or with others!

Neal integrates movement and music aspects into all his work. He also stresses simple vocal and body mechanics, like breathing, tone, ear training, warm-up and ergonomics -- your voice will sound much better!
